... was full with Mercedes, BMWs, Audis from some distances away. I took some photos around the airfield for nostalgic purposes. The arena and curling rink at Baden appear to be operating as well. The former PMQ patch is a going concern. The Romans established a settlement at this location on the Rhine about 2000 years ago and it has has continuous settlement ever ...

... valid. Checked out the inside of the cathedral after the walking tour. Beautiful stained glass. Lots of tourists, didn't feel very "churchy". Apparently it gets closed to tourists when there is som e type of function happening. Long walk back to meet the ship as it had not yet arrived and we got the spot wrong. Quick lunch in the cafe and then grabbed a quick nap before the early briefing for tomorrow, where Rudy advised he needed to depart the ...

... to a random collection of Latino and 80's music and we arrived at our hotel. The Mercure Severeinshof is a clean, comfortable friendly city centre hotel close to everything you need. After a quick shower and my husbands obsession with checking out every nook and cranny of our accommodation we disappeared off in to Koln. My first impression.... The smell!! Oh My Goodness! It's like walking through a city size bakery! Absolutely divine and something I wish I could bottle ...
