Getting the job done

Covered a few kms today to go to Brisbane to pick up caravan awning supports froma company who Jeremy had seen sold them. Hard to get used to the traffic and tolls (luckily they seemed to be shut so didn't have to deal with them). Also finally got around to picking up aour mail from Australia Fair and of course managed to find a few other things to buy. At night Ethan, Elijah and I set off to watch the Australian Outback Spectacular which is an evening dinner show with ...

On tour...

... nach Double Point Island. Illegales Camping.

Into the rainforest

... everything about the rainforest- every animal, every plant, every bird call. He was amazing. We rode in a ute through the rainforest, crashed through a 4WD trail and had a fantastic meal that Ed made for us by a river stream. It was an exhasuting day! That night, we went out for a cocktail at an ice bar- that's right, an ice bar, where everything was made out of ice. The cups, the chairs, the walls- it was crazy! You get a giant furry jacket before you go in, plus mittens and ...

Day 13 - Wet and Wild!

... us trying to get her on. Unfortuanaly mum then had to take Kodi down to the ground while Dad, Bronte, Nikita and I hopped on to go down the Tornado. My goodness is it scary! After we had done the Tornado a few times and when the que started to build up, we headed over to the black hole and some of the other rides. Once we had done the Tornado, Black Hole and the Sidewinder enough times, we headed off as a group to the Mammoth Falls. While we were on the way ...

New Job, New Hair & New Horizon

... so obviously I've got to stick around!! I was meant to be heading up to Cairns the following weekend as it's Jake's birthday and a whole load of people from the Woolshed are meeting up but I cant really afford it now. I need to save as much as I can to do a bit of travelling to Melbourne and then to Perth. So for now it's all work and no play!! So that's the plan in the grand scheme of things. So until the next time.. sending loads of love as always Keli xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Theme Parks

... Police Academy show, full of stunts and pyrotechnics, and the Shrek 4-D show before watching the sparse parade of characters journey down the main street. Knackered from our first theme park day we hit the hay early, ready for our day of wet and wild fun at Wet 'n' Wild. There was a great selection of rides here, from the classic water park rides to newer, more sophisticated rides. The queues here were much longer than at ...

Wet 'n' Wild World

... a sharp drop and into the cone shaped bowl below at high speed. Up one side of the bowl, then the other and back up the other all the while getting banged about and soaked on all sides, before finally out through the plughole and into the splash pool below. It's brilliant fun and again there is a camera there to catch your expression as you first hit the bowl. Our pictures are again unpleasant as we both get our faces soaked as the camera flashes... to be continued.

Viva La Surfers!

... We then thought it was a good idea to wake up our room mates when we got in so the party continued! After a boozy couple of days, we were looking forward to chilling out in Brisbane. surfers was fun but a bit like a small Las Vegas all lights and bars and very commercial, not as pretty and chilled as some of the beach resorts we have been to.

Nothing new here

... from a group of abo's in the park on the other side of the road, I kept my head down and carried on walking. I couldn't even understand what they were saying so it didn't bother me. I was completely shattered when I got back so jumped into the sack and called it a night. I was back working at the tower block on Friday morning. I don't even know why they booked me as there weren't that much work to be done. As a result of this most of the day was ...
