    ... well maintained, although in places the steps need to be negotiated with care.

    The path crosses the falls and ropes are set up to help you balance. I would STRONGLY recommend wearing either reef shoes or decent waterproof footwear. I viewed more than one person slip and fall over due to navigating the stream crossing in thongs (flip-flops) and the rocks can be slippery.

    recently we had the great pleasure of having George's mother visit up with a couple of cousins......it was possibly the worst weather we had seen though but that is the charm of a Pacific Island!!! There was three days of torrential rain with 20cm in one morning alone. But Port Vila has enough to do inside to keep them busy and the rain is warm so the swimming pool is still a great option.     ... market this was great to wonder around & look at the different veggies, fruit, root veggies & fresh birds. Vic bought a mango. I went mad over all the magnificent flowers amazing colours I was in heaven clicking away. Lastly we headed to the duty free shop to buy some alcohol.     ... something like the Peppermint Bay II. What was I thinking??? Our boat was a 5m fibreglass dingy which was late arriving because it was chartered for a fishing trip earlier in the morning. They had to wash out the boat a little before we got in to get rid of the blood and fish guts. That being said, it wasn't all that bad once we got going and the wind blew away the smell of dead fish :)
    The water was a deep sapphire blue. It was incredibly beautiful.
