      Have to admit I wasn't looking forward to today, as it as a dirty hole of a place the last time we visited.       ... we were asked to proceed through the rain forest along a narrow path to the next area. Walking along the path I stayed near to the back of the group so I could stop and take pictures as I pleased. Tiffany and Chelsea walked ahead of me in the middle of the group.       ... wrecks, walls and coral reefs.

      The most pleasant part of an overseas posting is receiving visitors and these have allowed George and I to experience more of Vanuatu. We have snorkelled many beaches on the island, gone zip lining, swam in blue holes, seen fantastic wild life and of course - the food and drink here!

      ... tea and had a chance of purchasing some of the locally made wares. Keely bought another bag (I think she is up to seven now) though this one was a hand woven backpack which made it pretty unique.
      There are 500 people in the village from eight different tribes. All the houses were metal sheet or concrete construction so they no longer go hide in the cave during cyclone season. They just stay put.

      ... they need to go, they simply walk. So even though our ute was a little 'gem' (the suspension and steering were stuffed and someone had replaced the engine with a hampster in a small plastic wheel) we were happy as pigs in mud.And we saw pigs in mud, and chickens (I ran one over on Sunday...Why did the chicken cross the ...oh... never mind..) and cows and a horse and every tropical fruit known to man and people weaving a new roof and babies eating potato ...
