    ... but happily I do move on pretty quickly.
    David and I talked and looked into coming home maybe a few days to a week earlier, as we didn't give enough thought to the jet lag issue (was really bad when we returned from Vietnam last year). As it is now we only have 4 days at home before we return to work. Unfortunately it will cost well over $1000 each to do this, so that won't be an option. Doesn't matter; we will just be tired.

    ... cooked right in front of our eyes and the chef let us take a picture to prove it. Emma had a really good looking pasta. We sat on one of the benches and ate our meals before getting really yummy iced wine smoothies (our version of Italian wine) which we drunk whilst playing cards.     From there, I walked over to the castle area. The castle is open to the public for free, but just to walk through the external part. That's kind of neat to do, but the outside of the castle isn't super-spectacular.

    While we were shoe shopping, it started to rain - luckily we had our trusty umbrella, but we decided to take refuge in a cafe in the middle of the piazza - it's so ***********vince us to eat - and had bruschetta - one traditional with tomatoes and oregano, and one with shrimp and calimari on, which was really peppery and delicious too.
