          ... of smokers....they are everywhere and trying to enjoy outside dining is inevitably ruined by them. It certainly is not shunned like it is at home. I've been keeping in touch with Mum and Dad via a resident in the nursing home who sits at their table. Ruby has her own wifi and iPad, is on Facebook and delivers my messages and photos religiously with replies from them. I love to think that Mum & Dad can enjoy "travelling" with us.           ... our tired feet needed. It took quite a while to drag the girls out of the fountain but I didn't mind as I was trying to take a picture of the fountain on my camera. I knew exactly what I wanted to take but I couldn't remember what setting to put it annoying!

          ... shopping in this area. In fact, Milan is all shopping! Walked back to the hostel and grabbed some dinner. Got a cone of gelato after that and took a stroll down by the canals. There's a little night life in the area so it was enjoyable.

          Turned in early and got about 10 hours of sleep!! Needed it! Headin to Venice this morning for "real" canals. ;). Taking the high speed train should be fun too! Wooooo! ...
