    On somewhat of a whim we have decided to venture into Milan for the day. None of us have ever been here before, so its a new experience for all.

    The day started beautifully with a large number of people Para-sailing and sailing about on Lake Como this morning. Very nice thing to wake up to. After breakfast we left this lovely place and, with our GPS friend made our way into Milano.

    What a day! Woke up at 6am to leave by 6.45 with the kids to school, a hour drive to Milan and there by 8! I then walked tot he centre on Milan to have a wonder and wait for Katie! I looked up the way to Milano Centrale, the main train station and decided to make the trek as I had about 3 hours to pass until Kate came, and nothing opens till about 9.30 anyway!
