... this. Two or is it three people are running up the gangway towards the ship. A shore crew member is there to stop them trying to board, for the ship is already moving away from the dock. We can't see them clearly through the opaque glass of the gangway canopy, but the passengers are obviously pleading furiously with the crewman, their arms a flaying furiously in futile gestures of begging for the ship to stop.
But it's too late, we're off and now they ...
... and friendly. I know - not a common phrase you hear about the Parisians. But that was our experience. The most rude person we met was our tour guide at the Eiffel Tower - and he was American (maybe “rude” isn’t a good word…more fittingly he was obnoxious).
Their bread is to die for!

... since we know where it's located, it's super close to the airport with an easy drive there, it was available and priced right. Unfortunately, we arrive too late for the kiddos to have a swim in the pool but on the other hand we need to sleep as we have to wake up at 4:30 am in order to catch our early morning flight to London. Our room is a quad with a bed for all... we hit the sack and rest up for a long day in London tomorrow.

... was waiting for me, handing over a beer as I arrived – it would be rude to refuse. The new lounger chairs that were expected had arrived so I tried one out and it was very comfy. Sandra bought one for Sandy to ease his dodgy back and they both decided better get two to save a fight sharing it. This meant a shuffle around of furniture so I helped Sandy take their old lounger downstairs after figuring out how to get it down the tight stairwell. We just managed to squeeze it through. ...
