... a quiet place and all managed a bowl of pasta, then a slow walk home. Lovely still night, not cold at all. Home for showers and bed, we plan to get on the local train tomorrow and head back to one of the Cinque terre towns, and then walk between a few of the towns along the coast, stopping somewhere for lunch. ... every doorstep. After a delightful jaunt
through the town, followed by a more delightful jaunt down the stairs we climbed up, laughing at all of the suckers heading up the stairs, we headed back to Vernazza as the sun was starting to poke its head out.

The movie “Letters to Juliet” is so full of bull. None of the scenes from the movie look like real Verona. Some are similar, but I feel mislead.
I still NEED a curling iron.

Started the morning with a cappuccino, banana and pesto pizza. Yummy! No really yummy! Started hiking from Monterosso to Vernazza a for an hour and half trek. Little did I know it was the hardest trail between two Cinque Terre towns. The 1 1/2 hours turned into 3. You hike way up the cliffs overlooking the sea on little stone stairs. the climd was exasperating but the descent into Vernazza was really ******* the old knees and they hurt. I thought I messed them ...
