    You probably wouldn't go to Crevillent just to visit the town, its away from the coast so less busy, is a centre for carpet manufacture, is not too far from a good climbing crag, but does have a very good campsite and you can use the large swimming pool that is part of the hotel.     ... easier routes before it became to hot and we headed back down and out to the coast again.

    Pilar de la Horadada is another developed area of the coast but at least most of the properties are individual houses and it does have some nice small beaches. So after a couple of days climbing it was time to chillout on the beach, or by the pool back at the campsite.
