      ... armed services and have had an impeccable service record. They get a wage and get to live with their families inside the tower gates which can’t be accessed by the residents after 11pm. After finishing the tour we went on a self-guided tour with ice cream around the Crown jewels, outer walls and the White tower which was where the Kings and Queen lived, now it shows all the armour that was used.       ... way to the Place Royale du Peyrou (gardens) to enjoy the sun.

      This is at the top of the old town and overlooks Montpellier and the surrounding area. There is an old aqueduct in this area that once supplied water to the town.

      On our walk around the town, Sophie found an ice cream shop, and realised it was the same one as in Innsbruck. Of course we had to sample one and show Sue how fantastic they are.
