Yesterday I woke up at 5:00 rested ... I actually heard myself snoring in my dream state... Is that called lucid snoring? and left at sunrise.. Since it can get hot this time of the year in the plains, best to rise early and enjoy the quiet and freshness of the morning. ... and she was still sick and weak. We decided no walking. Too boot, Alyssa and Kim had left all their clothes on the line and it rained all night. The albergue attendant took the clothes and put them in the dryer which was in the albergue owner's house. While the clothes were drying the owner left to go somewhere. ... It's main purpose seems to be irrigation of surrounding fields. Originally built to transfer grain but superceded by the railway. On a walk round town saw van for a camino tour organization call bicigrino. I met a guy from Melbourne last week who was on a combined walking/bicycle tour including hotels at a cost of A$4500. A bit excessive compared with low cost of even 4 star hotels. Having 10E dinner at 7pm in nearby restaurant. Breakfast at hotel at 7.30am ...
