Today the sky was so blue and the clouds so fluffy and white it seemed we were walking in a dreamworld. Our morning started with a short but steep "hump" as we are calling them. We enjoyed our first break at another roadside stand followed by a tortilla (egg-potato "omelette") bocadillo (sandwich) in the next town. We have remarked how important it is to be the first pub upon entering town as everyone is always desperate for a break and stops at the first place ...

... the city which took us around the airport, along the river and through parkland, as opposed to traipsing the hot and noisy streets of the city. We've only had to walk into two large cities so far, Pamplona and Burgos, and both times it seemed it would never end.
