Two Young Giffers on a Motorbike in Fetihye

A travel blog entry by jennifer63 on Aug 11, 2014

Great to get back on the bike today, er um for about 10 minutes. The temperature rose to 42.5 in no time and our Rukka textiles are not suited to this, we were literally baking inside our gear. Reluctantly but necessary, I took off my jacket and rode in a t-shirt for the first time ever, it was bliss but sooooo unsafe. A waterfall spouting ...

Today was an "OMG!" day. We first went to a picturesque village called Ucagiz where we rented kayaks. Then we kayaked out of the harbor along the coast through some islands to another small town. As usual for August in Turkey, it was a scorching day and we sailed around for the majority of it, taking in the stunning scenery. It was a rather peaceful and relaxing ...

    Day 15 - Adios!

A travel blog entry by denten on Oct 14, 2013

Up and packed by 9 so grabbed a quick breakfast in the hotel sitting outside overlooking the marina, bliss. I found a shaded crescent hammock, Sandra braved the sun. Again very warm but breezy so we both managed to nearly finish our books. Sitting in the hotel veranda writing this last entry waiting for the pick up. Now we are leaving can't wait to get back to the cold and wet. Still not long till January and New ...

    Paragliding Fethiye

A travel blog entry by nicolasfulton on Nov 14, 2012

... and it was simply too high to understand. It was freezing cold and windy as all hell. We waited awhile with our tandem jumpers, watching them build things out of the wood piles and play baseball at two thousand meters. After many laughs were had and after being told we had bad luck with weather and the fact that the guys had no girls today, we went a bit down the mountain to a more sheltered jump/launch pad.
My guy was the smallest- Ferrari. He ...
