... stunning coves and turquoise waters, up into the hills and pine plantations, through local villages and then back to the coast at Fethiye.

Staying at a hotel above the yacht marina and port which is huge and has some incredibly expensive and enormous yachts and motor launches, a lot of which are covered for winter. The population is about 80,000, and it's a big tourist spot for British people apparently, and obviously a prosperous and modern city.

      ... time in my life.

The bus system is easy to navigate paying a few lira to get downtown, a bustling area of of shopping and nightlife. I did the five island tour which was beautiful but I would have much rather taken a day trip to Rhodes Island. However, swimming in the dead sea (Oludeniz) and paragliding have to be one of my best experiences in Fethiye.

... After a quick dip I layed on the shoreline admiring the view and soaking up the sun. The waves were rolling in slowly and the sound of the pebbles moving with the water was really relaxing. Every now and then a bigger wave would come and I'd jump thinking that it would come all the way up and get me and my stuff.

After a few good hours laying on the beach and watching the paragliders I made my way back to Fethiye and walked around the markets in town. I bought a book and ...
