Day 6 - Kinlochleven to Fort William (16 miles)
... the WHW straight away eating as I go. The first mile or so out of Kinlochleven was a climb through the forest up to a height of about 900ft and then joining on to the old military road. Once on the road it was about 5 miles through Lairigmor again with amazing panoramas around every corner. This was another wild stretch of the WHW passing by a couple of ruined farm houses and even an old rusty car. I couldn't even work out what it used to be, can ...

The muesli got pushed to one side and a full Scottish breakfast was ordered. Breakfast was great! Just what I needed after such a bad day yesterday. Today was only going to be 12 miles and I was hoping that it would be an easier day today. Lets hope! I picked up my packed lunch from reception, paid my bill and set off. As I ...

Day 165: We didn't do as much today as the previous couple of days since we returned the car, so we spent the morning walking around the city and booking the train for the next day to Glasgow. Then in the afternoon we got some drinks and took it back to the hostel and played board games for the rest of the day which turned out to be a good way to unwind after two full days.
