... both had Cullen skink tonight as our first course. Translated it is a delicious smoked haddock and potato soup. It helps to have people around who are able to interpret. Lots of fresh fish available on the dinner choices and always porridge and kippers as options for breakfast. Sheil had porridge for breakfast today. I declined! Again - and I know I am repeating myself - I can't get over how much fun our group members are. We are sharing a lot of laughs. ...

This morning, we took a trip on the Jacobite Train from Fort William to Mallaig, a small fishing village on the western coast.
