The trip up the mountain section was glorious with a lengthy section where the snow was falling gently. We had to travel slowly - the landscape was superb. The snow finally turned to rain and then cleared to have ray's of sunshine bathing the Skye Bridge. What a welcome! We spend a night in Portree in a dinky little B&B - all lace and ruffles.
