    ... stained glass windows he did for the Art Institute of Chicago and many other works. I recognized the windows immediately - they are his style.
    After a delicious dinner, I walked back to the cathedral with some of the other tour participants. The cathedral puts own a light show at 11:00 - once it gets dark. The 25 minute show was nothing short of amazing!
    It is a late night, but it was worth it. ...

Sondi, took us out through the garden and then we viewed the vines, the pressing facilities (used just two weeks a year), the vats, the underground cellars where over six million bottles are cellared, the oak barrels and then back through the gardens to the tastings. This is one of the few privately owned champagne houses still operating and produces some two million bottles per year of which 60% is exported. The USA ...

    ... these voices all belonged to Australians! Met two couples from Bowral, so having a great chat as we sipped our glass of champagne. It appears that if you have a vintage or grand curvee champagne, it should be drunk from a glass not dissimilar to a red wine goblet, so that the bouquet can be savoured.

    As we didn't have any red wine goblets at the house, didn't worry about buying a vintage champagne for dinner.
