After a long and tiring journey we arrived at our campsite. Weather is lovely so went for an uphill walk in the evening. Just enjoying a beer in the bar now. Day by the pool tomorrow me thinks. Did a little reading by the van after breakfast and then dozed off. After lunch went and had a dip in the pool. After some much needed sunbathing we decided to have a game of tennis - Sue cheated of course! Sat in the shade now with cool beer ...

... and eat, a real problem for us northerners, we are just to used to eat early. By the time we really ate it was 10... Lucky we had a few tapa's before. Anyway the company was real nice and the conversations interesting, that was the most important thing ! ... that day went up to a volcano lake called Lake Pavin. The roads were twisty and windy and mum wouldn't have liked it! We walked up steep stairs all around the village , found old ruins and a church , a market the day we left. Weather was fine but still a little cold . We then travelled on to Valliguiere .
