Went for a walk to the old part of Orcet this morning, lots of narrow winding streets no wider than a small car, really quirky with a large church in the centre. Took the dogs for a walk down some leafy lanes, quote a nice stopover and the sunshine certainly helps. We hit Spain tomorrow as we continue South

We were up, packed up and ready to leave by 8.30 this morning!!! No alarm was necessary as the dutchy caravan and family behind us decided to start packing up and left by 7.30!! ... I hadn't eaten potato since my cheesy extravaganza in Alpe d'Huez. This was nicer, I finished my meal with a chilled berry soup and ice cream.So good.

After a long and tiring journey we arrived at our campsite. Weather is lovely so went for an uphill walk in the evening. Just enjoying a beer in the bar now. Day by the pool tomorrow me thinks. Did a little reading by the van after breakfast and then dozed off. After lunch went and had a dip in the pool.
