What can I say about Liverpool? It is a port city, historical, industrial city. It has a lot of full bars, even on a Sunday. And that's not a good thing From what iv seen its a hard working town. From what I read, Liverpool is a very safe city. It doesn't ...

... than Tess pulling Sarah over ( more of that later ) all was fine. Ended the walk at the New DG hotel and had a few while watching England v Italy. Walked back to van and thought let's go in the walkers bar for a few more. It's a great pub with real ale and a real fire, two of the best things after walking up a Wainwright. So we didn't cook in our new van, just stayed in the pub and ...

Liverpool was a balance between York and Manchester. The city life definitely accessible but it was still cosy and romantic. We enjoyed walking along the docks and looking at the ships moored along the shore of the river whilst devouring some epically delicious homemade fudge!

Highlights definitely include the evening spent at the Cavern Club singing and dancing to Beatles tribute songs and the Tuk Tuk drive through the city.

We were basically in Liverpool for one reason; to realise Daniel's dream to go and watch Liverpool in an English Premier League game at Anfield, their home ground. So how lucky was this; we got in the taxi (by the way, it was a classic English black cab!), and our driver asked ...

... at the Liverpool eye, there was boats in the water , the Beatles yellow submarine , and the Joker's boat and a few others. We went into the Beatles shop, bought some souvenirs and walked a little further where we were going to see The Beatles Story until we found out the price to go in, we liked The Beatles but thought that was way too expensive. We walked along by the harbour, had a coffee then headed ...
