So, today I set out with the intention of exploring the city of Chester. Bit odd to be doing this on my final day instead of the first but oh well. Luckily for me, the centre of the city isn't too far from my hotel, and the whole area is nicely walkable. Looking forward to being frisked by Si but he's in Teneriffe! Both well and now waiting for Gate to open and signing off for next ...

After dropping Kay at the airport to begin her long journey home and Blair off at the bus station for his adventures in the West of Ireland we had one last night with Trudy and the family before heading to Dublin Port and the Ferry to Liverpool.

The ferry crossing was eight hours and we thought that this would be a long drawn out trip but in fact was very pleasant. ...

... just stopped to take in the scenery around us. The hills are beautiful, rolling out and away from you for miles and miles, and somehow you can see it all stretching out before you in one breathtaking view. The clouds seem to hang lower here and look like they are trying to graze the tops of the hillside. In the valleys you see meadows of lush green grasses, almost emerald in color and hard to believe anything could be so green. Everything is so beautiful and so boldly ...
