We arrived at Camp Nowra after a calm and smooth navigation out of Penrith for some time with daughter Anna. Bentley the staffie and Millie the whippet belong to the homeowner, Amber, Anna's housemate. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming at this camp.

... back once again up and down hills, came to the turn off to Kangaroo Valley so our wonderful Gps on my Ipad showed us the way to Paula and Debs property in Barrengarry finally found it, very impressed it is beautiful, took the tourist drive back to Berry very winding roads but great views, did some shopping cooked dinner now it is rest ...
Now the adventure begins 2 nights roughing in at Booderee National Park. Plenty of walks, beaches, trees, this is perfection. Wallabies hopping around, possums under our table and the threat of "an abundance of Pythons". I insist on our walks that Adam is the leader in his strong manly steps wearing thongs. He's so brave. (and a bit smelly due to “if were camping we don’t have to shower every day”)

The descent into the Abercrombie River Gorge from the North is particularly scenic. The section Laggan-Taralga Road from Crookwell ends in the historic town of Taralga. ...
