We arrived at Camp Nowra after a calm and smooth navigation out of Penrith for some time with daughter Anna. Bentley the staffie and Millie the whippet belong to the homeowner, Amber, Anna's housemate. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming at this camp.

Now the adventure begins 2 nights roughing in at Booderee National Park. Plenty of walks, beaches, trees, this is perfection. Wallabies hopping around, possums under our table and the threat of "an abundance of Pythons". I insist on our walks that Adam is the leader in his strong manly steps wearing thongs. He's so brave. (and a bit smelly due to “if were camping we don’t have to shower every day”)
... Falls. Both Lynne and I believe we have been here before. Nearly 40 years ago on our way to the Parry's of Nowra. However, today we were a little disappointed due to the dry winter the district has had this year. There was only a dribble going over the falls today. Oh we'll, the photo looked OK.

The following day we headed to the big blowhole. We were lucky enough to view it during the right conditions, SE winds and a big swell. It was spectacular. Due to the erosion of the rock, the small blowhole has only been blowing recently and the big blowhole only blows when the wind and swell are right. We went for a drive to Shellharbour and spent a relaxing afternoon at the caravan park. Our next stop ...
Boy did we name our little adventure correctly The problem is if the GPS doesn't know the way !!! She took us on Tourist Rd and thru into Kangaroo Valley. We were heading down a STEEP slope when our brakes decided to completely fail. Our van was accelerating rapidly and we were coming to a sharp bend. We just made it around the corner and were never so glad in our life to see a slight incline in front of us. We didn't have one more bend in us. We managed ...
