We have just got home after 8 hours walking around the sights of Albi. It has the world's largest brick cathedral, St Cecile Cathedral, and from the outside it is almost ugly. As Garth said, it is like a gigantic pile of red bricks! But inside is a different story. ... What we didn't do in Carcassonne was visit Le Parc Australien! I found a brochure for this and couldn't beleive it. There are kangaroos, birds etc as well as what looks like manequins of aborigines! The next day we drove along more winding roads and through scenic villages.
