This comfortable hotel is decorated with lots of cherries - this is the owner's personal touch. The rooms are comfortable and neat. It is also very closets a railway station.

After that we got back on the bus and wound up in a HUGE traffic jam on the way to the Basilica of Fourviere, which is on the highest point (of course) in Lyon. The view was nice, supposedly we could see the office of Interpol, and across the river to Mont Blanc, the highest peak of the Alps in France.

... and Haussmann apartment blocks of the east side to the ultra modern out-on-a-limb buildings of the southern confluence part of town, Lyon provides a feast for the eyes in just about any direction one can look. Amongst all of it, there are countless spaces for its citizens to sit, read, debate, relax, eat and play and, much to Logan's chagrin, smooch. I love Lyon. I ...

Were looked after & will probably go back again for our last night in ...

... me it was a good idea to go for a hike to the town’s church. Moustiers is a very senic town perched on the side of a mountain face and its church is situated at the very top. It was a good walk and the church was really beautiful. Above the church there is a gold star hung between the two cliffs which dates back to the 10th Century since the crusades. The views from the top and along the walk were breath taking and well worth the effort. It ...
