We took the bus into Lyon for a look around the city with no expectations but it was a nice city and easy to get around.
Now that its dry, we hope it will stay that way as staying / sleeping in the van with the rain pouring down is a pretty miserable place to be!!

... ran out, took a couple of pictures, back on the metro, and got back to the hostel and only missed 10 minutes of the second half. I was pretty impressed, and the picture game continues!!

climbed up and was almost at the top, I leaned back to throw my leg over the
railing. Bad move. The ladder slipped off the banister and fell straight up
onto the floor with me pinched in-between it and the bed. I managed to get into
the bed after making sure I didn’t scare the kids half ...
... I had a good day today. I've just been at the hostel all day pretty much. I had a long breakfast, talked to my mum a bit, had a shower, sat in bed and read a book and tonight I'll go to work. This week I work a lot, which is nice. Although I should pay more attention to my tips in future I think. This comfortable hotel is decorated with lots of cherries - this is the owner's personal touch. The rooms are comfortable and neat. It is also very closets a railway station.
