This comfortable hotel is decorated with lots of cherries - this is the owner's personal touch. The rooms are comfortable and neat. It is also very closets a railway station.

... headed back to the hotel and enjoyed a good nights rest. It was the best we have had all tour and we could have just stayed there a little longer. We are now on our way to Paris and it is our last drive together as a group. We only have two nights left and reality is starting to kick in and Contiki/travel depression is starting to kick in. As much as we miss everyone at home and we just want to play and cuddle with molly we are safe our trip is almost ...

... but I had to go to the school in the morning to try to figure out how to take ballet classes with the university's sports program. I ended up going to the mall to kill time before class and made a friend who made me speak French (although he could speak some English) while I was crocheting a hat. ... about the World Cup, I will add a photo or two most places we visit on this theme. As each entry has to be based in one place, this one will be based in Lyon, simply because I will start it here, and because I don't think we'll stick around to photograph very much in this city.

Michelle, Dave, Luke and Aidan stayed in the same apartment during their holiday earlier in the year, and Ed had a huge grin on his face when he discovered this fact - it actually took a while to explain to him that it was exactly the same apartment where Luke had stayed. The apartment is on the 5th floor and no lift. Just another spiral staircase. Due to the time, we dropped our bags ...
