    ... for Ellie and Derek arrival at 2pm. We have know them along time but haven't seen them since they moved out here 10 years ago, with their young family.     ... off the road it's sand, yup we were stuck, just like Cornwall again but worse everyone speaks French, after much swearing and blaming on both our parts ( first time I wanted to go home I might add) I thought that's it were stuck here forever. A rather nice chap with his family stopped and asked if we wanted help, ummmm yep that would be good. Out with the slip mats and gave it a go, 1 min and covered in sand, this wasn't going to work, 10 french kids were then called upon to help, ...

    ... wasn't a problem, it was the start of the holidays too so everywhere was packed. The purchase of our bikes immediately started paying off, that afternoon we rode into town and checked out some street markets, purchased some butcher style chorizo, real Camembert from a cheese deli and some crackers. We are able to save petrol and give the car a rest by leaving it in one spot, plus we are getting some exercise...win ...

    Worth the 2.5 km and hard climb up to this campsite - what a gem after the commercialised places all along the coast. 10 Euros, and the lady said she would go and get us two baguettes from town in the morning.
