... was stuck reading an obscene amount to be paid and no reset buttons were working. I would have to turn off my noisy tiger and press the button to speak to the French attendant. "Bonjour" I said. "Parlez vous anglais?". "Non" came the reply. Again my pigeon French was called into play and I somehow managed to tell him I was on a motorbike and they needed to reset the machine so I could pay my €1.80. Boom, the carrier finally ...
... they caught them. We have had the best time road tripping through south England and exploring the west coast of France and Spain. We both wouldn't change a thing...car problems and all as it makes for good stories and experiences. After Madrid I headed to South France to do some surfing and relaxing. I stayed with a friend of a friend, Georg, and hanging out with him was great. Georg and I have a similar sense of humor (haha rare find for me) and I was pretty lucky because Georg is a surf instructor and lives a five minute walk from the beach.
I wish I could write a bunch for this entry but all what I really did for the week was surf and cook food every day. It was pretty great and I owe Georg big time.
