    ... what we did, Peter read about four books in front of the fire while it drizzled outside and we simply caught up with emails, and paying bills, and doing the washing and all the things that eventually need doing.

    We were in an area that had once been part of the Roman Empire and some of their constructions are still standing! The traffic still enters the city of Autun under the arches! We loved exploring old towns in the area, Nolay, Vezelay, ...

    ... via the SuperU (supermarket) as we needed water and a few bits, then found our way back to the railway line, we were nearly 2 puddles at this point as the sun was so strong. Back to the site for a welcoming dip in the pool, BBQ and and early night tonight, off to Narbonne in the south of France. Oh and I'm sick of the sound of Cicada in the trees!!! they go on and on and on allllll day. See ya all later ...

    ... telling me which way to paddle, and we safely made it through and stopped on a nearby bank for a breather and to congratulate ourselves, little did we know what was to come!!!!
