      ... front was pretty with a grassy area and palm trees on the beach side and a large wetlands area with lakes and lagoons on the inland side. The lake had lots of birds, we could see pelican, smew, small brown ducks ,heron, storks, american coots and what we think was cormorants swimming under the water, fishing, it's incredible how long they can stay under the water for, we followed them with the binoculars for ages and they never seemed to surface.       ... go so we took pictures of the other harbor and started back. We were accosted by a guy with a menu in English, pay in Kuna/Euro/Dollar, free aperitif, so we followed him up the stairs to the restaurant.       ... took about 40 minutes to circle the town and suburbs so we hopped on that. The harbour area of Corfu is very pretty, the old ramparts of which there were several were really magnificent but the rest of the town is really dismal.       ... After checking prices i went back to the resort, found some others who were interested in para-sailing as well and then walked up the stairs of the hill back to the room. I changed to swimmers and went back down to the beach. Here i meet up with some more people and we went to the watersports area and paid for para-sailing.
