... 8211; Olympos appeared to be nothing more than a narrow gravel road of pensions and guesthouses. We had booked accommodation in nearby Cirali, situated on the other side of the hills from Olympos.
With all of our bags there was no way that we were ever going to be able to walk the 10-15 minutes along the beach to Cirali as other backpackers normally would. It meant we had to negotiate with our driver to take us the 10km or so back out of Olympos and ...
Hiking the Lycian Way
... small beach town with basically 2 dirt roads. The beach here is much lusher with pine trees and the beach is actually made of pebbles. Anne and Tanya took bikes provided by Hotel Canada for a quick ride before dinner. Carey slept for a solid 18 hours to let whatever bug run its course. We ate dinner at the hotel which was amazing and had a quiet night playing poker and blogging.

Blue Cruise
... madness, generally resulting in a bemused crowd standing around us, then taking photos and then imitating the moves so we felt we left our little mark on the local populace! Turkish dance, for men and women, seems to revolve around a mixture of Bollywood and Daniel O'Donnell in his prime so we couldnt have done much damage to be fair.
Have to say that this was probably the highlight of the Turkey trip although Olimpos itself was a very close second....

Suddenly, Turkey!
