... Area. This long narrow park was created by the damming of the Tenn. River
on the east and the Kentucky River on the west. Fishing, boating, camping and
wildlife watching are the main pursuits here. Folks are friendly with southern
drawls as thick as molasses in January.
We stayed for 2 nights at Energy Lake Campground... pretty spot overlooking the
lake, close to nice ...

Anyways. We're in Missouri now. We've been through two other states - Kentucky and Illinois -since my last post as well as in Nashville, TN for quite some time. There are stories. I'll do a longer more detailed update later. Just had to get out my rant about how hot life is becoming.
... of ice....we have been having a lot of ice in our water with the heat.. Mary who was just coming to work as we wer pulling out asked how many miles we had rode and so we chatted awhile...MaryJane said everyone was happy in side the place.
Got to the Holiday Inn Express around 3:30pm and we have a spacious beautiful room and Kathy at the front desk was very helpful with a bike shop and dinner recommendations. Jane and Ramona got in just about 5pm ...
