So after 4 and a half months of being isolated with a bunch of the best people we could have ever met, we've had to say goodbye and it’s now just me and Liam back on the road again. It literally feels so strange to be the two of us when we are so used to just walking into the kitchen at the farm for a chat or sitting out on the grass on an …

... definitely recommend this one to anybody that’s visiting Magnetic Island.

Got settled and chilled in the sun, and shared future travel plans with each other, which was good as Holly is interested in coming into the outback for a road trip with me!! We walked from one end of the bay to the other and picked up the bus service to Nelly Bay around 1:45, we had a little conversation with a local couple about fish and chips and the difference between the UK and here! Very funny!! ...

Today we went in search of koalas. We went on a long walk to the forts out in the bush surrounded by death adder. Keeping to the path we made our way slowly up the hill. We looked up into the trees desperate to spot koalas. Fortunately there were a couple ahead who noticed one up in the tree only a couple of metres away. We quickly joined them to enjoy the sighting. The koala was sat half way up the tree with his back against the branch. He was awake ...
