    Today was a girls only day, a full day of shopping in Oberhausen Germany, this is a 50 minute drive for us (my family lives 10 minutes from the German border). The Germans are very rude people, not friendly at all. The shopping centre we went to is huge, makes Shellharbour Square look very small, we didn't get the see the whole centre, especially with the way Jennifer, her daughter Merlin and Katie like to shop in every shop. ...

    ... 16. It was completely legal as he was driving a lower powered vehicle that is small and light. It only had 2 seats so one of us had to sit in the enclosed back compartment like a prison van which was fun. It was only a short trip down the road with a few turns so all was good.

    Once there, we quickly walked around. Looked at the old town church which is 1000 year old and then headed to a chemist and supermarket to get some stuff for the coming days ...

    There is a lot of work going on around the station at Wuppertal, but once you figured it out it was easy. The Hotel Astor was about a 5 minute walk. We'd come here because we'd seen the suspended monorail on the TV program based on Bradshaw's 1913 travel guide (Great Continental Railway Journeys).
