Day 16 - The Monte Carlo
... Cannes the kebab place was closed :( craving one we looked up on the Internet for kebab places in Cannes. We enjoyed our kebabs and marvelled at the curios sauce that had a taste that wasn't quite recognisable. We headed back down to the beach waking all the way along the shore the pathway was lit up by rainbow lights that danced in patterns on the floor! We return to the ancestral manse
... cars following a resident get bounced into the air as the cylinder reemerged from the hole in the pavement with a pneumatic hiss. The car’s undercarriage was pinned and the front of the car was held aloft in a humiliating display for all to see. Eventually the police would appear and make the cylinder retreat back into its hole, and sometimes a tow truck had to be called to drag away the car.

Cannes & Mougins
Today was a great day ~ we started off by taking Cade to the beach, while Mom and Dad shopped and walked around. We rented an umbrella and chairs on the beach ~ Cade met a nice 4 year old boy Noah and I chatted with his mother, a graphic artist from Germany. Then we met up with Mom and Dad for a late lunch. Afterwards, Philippe took us to a lovely art gallery village called Mougins. ...
Solo barbeque
... she reckons I'm a 'Frankophony'. Apparently that's someone who tries to pretend they can speak French but, in reality, fail miserably.
I didn't see much more or her today.
I had bought some meat from the boucherie the other day with the intention of using the barbeque at the back of the house. I thought today might be the ideal time since we had nothing else planned.

L'été vit plus fort
... from the girl in the shop. This, sadly, was also accompanied by a demo from a very high hippie who tried to be our friend. Her tangled-hair result did not entice us to buy, but the real demo did! We grabbed some beautiful flower shaped gelato before turning in for the night. Upon return to the hotel, we discovered a very special area in the back which contained a native american
