First 3 weeks discovering Paris... Week 2

Ahhh Paris
... so much fun walking through the Louvre and taking pictures. The amount of art is unreal. There was so much to see, even the ceilings were decorated with art. So many of the paintings were so large we couldn't fit them in pictures. We were able to see The Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo (Aphrodite). We could have spent all day in there. After that we headed back to get a look at the Eiffel Tower at night since it is less than a five minute walk from our hotel :) We can't wait for ...

Marie explained that the current mayor is big on cutting down on car usage and traffic, so it was his idea to shut down a major highway that runs along the right bank of the Seine and turn it into a beach every summer.
