We then headed back to Queenstown to pick up Skippy from Stewart motors. Unfortunately, she failed her WOF, due to a dodgy left hand steering rack and multiple holes in her muffler. This was however rectified two days later at the cost of NZ$260. Not bad for a 3.5 tonne, 28 year old. We love you Skippy.
Waking up with the now very familiar sound of Forrest's alarm at 8 was not as bad as it could have been. A bit chilly but another bright, blue sky day was coming in through the window. So we needed to shower and do some laundry first thing before Viki came to meet us from staying at Jen's. We put our laundry on and headed out to the lakeside to see if we could find coffee and free Wifi. Could we? Not one open place that had both.
