The day we "explored" Morogoro

A travel blog entry by beckybrahier on Sep 19, 2013

Today was one of those days that you'd expect to be just another run-of-the-mill day, but later on it turns into a rather interesting one! I like days like this.

I've been learning so much at the hospital. Today and Tuesday, I was in the surgical ward again for the major surgeries. I always find surgery fascinating, but we do see an awful lot of hernias and prostate removals. So I thought today was going to be about the same. ...

I've been here a little over a week now, but it feels like I've been here for months. And I've done enough amazing things to last me a lifetime so far!
This morning I woke up and found that the migraine I had last night had carried over to today. I don't want to go to the hospital unless I am at my best because I don't want the doctors to think I am uninterested when I really am just not feeling well. So I opted to stay home. The ...

Alright, holy **** you guys, I'm in Africa. I was having some electronic difficulties regarding my laptop, but all is well now! I apologize in advance for how long this entry probably will be. The parentals are still waiting for their update on if I'm even alive or not so this may be over-explanatory, but all the entries won't be like this, I promise.

So. My two days of travelling. I'm pretty good at navigating my way around airports so I wasn't really concerned ...
