    So we wanted to try out these healing mud baths we have been hearing so much about and to be honest I could you use some healing at this point in the trip. The beach has quite a tidal change and goes out about a ¼ mile. The sea was very shallow and allowed for easy swimming for children as you could walk forever and it only went up to your knees.     The drive from Plitvice was interesting and very beautiful. We drove through the city of Otocac where a lot of the fighting occurred in the 90's. The town still has a lot of visible signs of sniper holes in the buildings and some shelling damage. Em received a first hand lesson on some of the effects of war on a location.
