Monday morning I went out with Dad back to Deshaires but this time to find some food for breakfast. ... our hulls. He stayed with us for three days! It must have been because of my cooking! The water was packed full of colorful fish, coral, various rays and we must have seen at least five turtles swimming by our boat. The area is quiet during the morning and evenings. During the hours from 10am-4pm it is visited by day charters who bring over 100 tourist for the day.

... to the aquarium. We spent the afternoon learning about the local sea creatures and their habitats. The next day we rented a car with Del Max and went adventuring inland. We drove to the Chutes Du Carbet in the Basse Terre territory. The Chutes Du Carbet are two 350 foot waterfalls and is famous for luring Christopher Columbus from the Carribbean sea to the island.
