... to go and have a look and would have been once in a lifetime experience and to experience it in Oz was an opportunity not to be missed so in we went and escaped the mid-morning heat it cost 35 dollars to go in but also included entry to the main museum too.

We weren’t able to take cameras into the exhibition which was a shame because it was magnificent – if any of you get the chance you must go and see it- as Ancient Egypt was such a big subject ...

... those shoes. Sadly they did not make it to New Zealand with us, but they are safely stowed back in Sydney in luggage storage. I can't wait to see them again.

Like Sydney, Melbourne has a Royal Botanic Gardens that (Sydney, close your eyes and ears) is even nicer than it's Sydney counterpart. Granted, the Melbourne version did not have amazing views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, it also did NOT have thousands of bats that are plotting ...
