... night with the heater pumped at 32. The next day we wondered the streets of thessaloniki, with a few baklava and other Greek pastries for sustinence, crossing the demolished walls into old town. ... no water that was easily accessible. This was another really depressing reminder of the state of Greece as the marina was really a boat graveyard for forgotten boats with one fairly large yacht having sunk at the jetty, just the masts sticking out of the water at a thirty degree angle. Eerie! There were people that lived there on a permanent basis just surviving in their rotting boats. We were glad to move on again.

... the bits and pieces that go with it later on. I can understand why they need to keep the artifacts carefully monitored, but I'd love to see it all out there for once. Even so, very well worth the side trip to Delphi to see this little gem, and we're glad we spent the time here. Didn't get to see the Oracle though - she must take Mondays off.

Nothing further of note to report here, but tomorrow will be the next big adventure. The destination is set for ...
