    ... You can understand the reason for pilgrims slowly pacing up the hill with the sounds of the gentle wind, distant thunder and a few birds chirping.     ... so of to the Yamaha shop (as well as KTM, Kawasaki and Suzuki). Was directed to the owner as he spoke good English, he was also dealing with another customer and went to the BMW shop. came back 5 minutes later and said he will have a look in the Yamaha service centre. after another 5 minutes he came back empty handed and we had a quick chat about what I was doing.

    Slovakia became one of the biggest hurdles we have had to overcome during trip planning.  It seemed that there was no convenient way of traveling through this country.  In fact, aside from driving, it was actually cheaper and faster to take a train around the country or fly over it than try to take public transportation through it.  We discovered why when we finally saw the landscape for ourselves.     Leaving city living in Budapest, we heading for a permaculture farm in the south of Slovakia eager to learn more about rural life and the challenges of doing up an old farm and turning it into a permaculture organic farm.
