So today was supposed to be the star of the real biking fun, left the Czech Republic and headed into the mountains in Slovakia, the rain has reduced a little but now I'm on the twisties it is still a real pain...I've given up on my plan to ride East through Slovakia, I'm now heading South into Hungary and away from the rain ...

Used to be Poland's capital city, Krakow has undergone large changes ever since its early Stone Age settlement. It is now one of Poland's biggest cities and a powerful economic hub. After Budapest, my next destination was Krakow. Although there were buses and trains available, they were infrequent, expensive, time-consuming or all of the above.
