    A real Cosy place ....with couple of foreigners around ...real helpful hotel staff...more of a home rather than a hotel....helped us in everything.... : )

    ... of the teachers called Suzie has something to eat with her for Uncle Maurice every morning.And today she had something for us too, hot dogs! We both had half a hot dog each, thanked the teacher and moved on to the next class. In the last class we visited they had prepared little stories in English, so 3 kids came up after each other and told us a story + the moral of that story.
    We headed to Goa Chitra.But on our way there we stopped at the house ...

    ... Part of the program includes Pratik lecturing us on the yogic belief in reincarnation and karma. I asked a lot of questions at first but I don't think he was happy about that so now I just tune out like I did in my introductory course to Sociology all those years ago at York U. I hope that's not bad karma!

    ... to the Santa Cruz market, took some photos, bought some snacks for the bus ride. Back to hotel to meet my driver from SNDT who would take me to the bus station 2 hours early. I found a nice bookshop where I spent about an hour looking for a dummy’s guide to Indian food (did not exist) and sat down with the shop owner who flipped through cookbooks teaching me about Indian food and then directed me to a good restaurant down the street.     ... which was good, affordable to us because of the low off season prices.

    The off season reared its ugly head with an onslaught of rain for three days so unfortunately we couldn’t make very much use of the pool but the room was nice enough with a flat screen TV that it didn’t matter.

    Colva itself doesn’t boast very many attractions apart from a couple of really good restaurants, we went crazy for the food here.
