    Stayed 9 days here in November 2010. They have helpful staff, great locale and value for money.

    ... animal known to man on my english breakfast (excluding the pig) i headed on down to the main reception to get a taxi. One thing about Dubai is that you can't really walk anywhere (sure as hell wouldnt advise it either!) so you have to get Taxi's everywhere, although because its a tax free country the petrol is dirt cheap meaning taxi's are pennys! (or in this case dirhams!). So, I did my research about bus tours you can get to go around Dubai seeing all ...

    This entry will, by all time pieces, seem to take several days. That is because we are flying into the sun. I left my hotel at 10 am and went straight to the airport. I know that seems silly but there was nothing in Rome I felt I particularly wanted to see, that could be seen before I needed to leave. I would also have my bags with me which would make movement over the cobblestones well nigh impossible When I got there I was told I could not leave my bags in the check in area ...

    ... of our nights in Dubai ended with us meeting up with our friends in bars. Our 'local' was Nelsons which is a lovely bar with lot's of great people.

    Also in Dubai they have things called brunches. You basically pay around £40-£50 and then eat and drink as much as you like all afternoon. That is great fun.
