... Well here's the story:

After having met a bunch of design students "by chance" (still don't believe in chance though ;) at a party,

[to be continued]

I reckon this trip will help me to make some awesome pictures.
Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany silberregenIt was sooooo cold in Frankfurt, we didn't want to spend much time here since we had no winter clothing. WE got in late, went to our hotel, then back to the airport to get our flight to Bangkok moved up. We though it would be at 8 that night, but they managed to get us on the next flight out, which was pretty much within the hour. Woohooo! I also kept speaking Italian in Germany... so confused with all the languages.
Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany sofenjon... agent and encountered my first, stern, mean German official's disgusted look and firm point up the stairs. There are signs in English and arabic numbers but they are not exactly numerous or clear, but I find my way to some signs indicating the way to Gate B 62. On my way, I locate a duty free shop that sells wine and after much effort at trying to find an Australian Syrah, I finally settled on something that might be a cab from Italy ...
Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany dsauter... Now we can’t wait to go back and spend more time in Sulzbach so we can tour the orchard!

We had a great dinner with great company, we reminisced about their trips to Florida and the Gators-Vols game, we learned more about the 2009 Oktoberfest songs and found out the Nadine was to perform one of them at the local festival later in the month, and then we drove back to their apartment to see all of the American sports paraphernalia hanging ...
Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany the_stamms... Pakistani played the guitar, quite a nice night.

Our final day was spent doing more site seeing and getting caught in the rain with our packs on. There were some more nice churches and at attempt at trying to find some tiramusi which went with fail.

OK so that settles Torino, sorry it isnt more detailed but not much happened. Anyway more to come. Still plenty more to write about.

Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany bburg8687... anyway, I arrived at my hostel disease-free and settled in for the night. I met a couple of Australians that I had a few beers with and then hit the sack. The next morning I wandered around the inner city of Frankfurt. To be honest I wasn't all that impressed. Frankfurt was hit pretty hard during WWII, so most of the historical ...
Frankfurt, Germany mr.schellenberg... We took the subway to the airport to find our parents. We had a bit of a hard time finding the right train because the first train we got on was delayed for some reasons (we could not understand the German over the speaker). We just followed the crowds and prayed we got to the airport in time....WE DID!! We saw Judy's hair over the security screen first...man, what a great reunion. Yes, we did have ...
Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany laytonandjana... with some grouse locals. Ich spreche zehr gut deutsch jetz. Prost! Frankfurt: Full of really old stuff. Est 1945, when it was bombed flat thanks to precision carpet bombing. They missed the church though, parts of which were actually built in the 1400's. Funky place. Did some royal stuff there with the holy roman emperor(s) back in the day (just after the real Romans ...
Frankfurt am main, Germany d_muzzo... risotto and vegetables (Steve's choice), barbeque chicken, pasta duo (cheese ravioli and tortellini with two sauces), and cod in a butter sauce with mashed potatoes and vegetables (Judy's surprise choice). It was all very good. But the best was dessert-a choice of a pear crumble, several cheeses, or (our choice) ice cream sundaes with raspberry (Judy), hot fudge (Steve), or butterscotch sauce and whipped cream and nuts. Such luxury. We only wish we could fly like this all the time.
