      That evening Stephen asked Emelia, his Portuguese/Italian wife to tell everyone about the new English idiom she had heard.

      The morning plan was to ride early 0730. But Clive slept in and we left about 45 minutes later. We hoped to do about 50km in just over 2 hours. It involved some climbs but near the summit of the first climb, we stopped to assist a lady with a punctured car tyre. Given the delay, the ride was shortened to about 40km. I was quite relieved as I'm nowhere up to Clive's fitness.
