Rude receptionists questioning our wealth (a.k.a. can we afford to stay there and for no obvious reason) and talking shit behind our backs and laughing at us etc. highly unprofessional things. Probably gave us the worst room with a long-ish walk to there and a dangerous bathroom. Luckily it was only for a little rest before the flight.

... in the picture. There were many Kolsch brauhauses around and we stopped for lunch at Brauhaus Sion. People were dressed up everywhere like it was Halloween and we later discovered it was a carnival. Annissa tried the currywurst and I had a foot long bratwurst with fried potatoes and a creamy cabbage. The people next to us had pork knuckles and what must have been a 6 foot long bratwurst. ... up all the way to the street. We actually had to walk in the street to walk by the places. Amy and I looked at the two, picked the slightly less crowded one and proceeded inside to a table. We were greeted by our waitress who quickly realized we spoke very little German and said speak in English it is OK. She was a great waitress and we had a great meal. I ordered exactly what I wanted for my birthday dinner, Schweinshaxe wahlweise (pork knuckle). It came ...
... s precisely what we did. I first ate a Bratwurst because it's a typical German treat. As I said before about eating Haggis, I'm a really picky eater. I loved the bratwurst, though! At another vendor I got some mozzarella sticks, because I was still a little hungry.
At that point I was planning on not eating anymore, but I happened upon a vendor making Nutella crêpes. As a rule, I never turn down Nutella anything. I wasn't let down either, it was really good.
