Then to the car museum just up the road. There is going to be a rally on Sat and Sun and the cars were already coming in to prepare. Looks like a really big deal. We will have to check and see if it will adversely affect us trying to get out of here.

So now as I write this we are in Fougeres. It's been another sunny day though not as hot as the previous days. We set off as soon after breakfast as we could, mindful of the kms ahead and my cold had worsened over night. Being Sunday everywhere was incredibly quiet. Suddenly we were in a beautiful tiny town, bathed in sun but still chilly and adorned with stone cottages and flowering baskets. They were ever so good and eventually managed to remove the tick for me, whereupon I found another tick but this time in Treacle's arm pit. So there we were with Treacle lying on her side on my picnic table, held down by the Dutch couple whilst I tried to get the tick out. Unfortunately the skin in this area is very loose and I couldn't get ...

... we rested the final hour before our train at a little bakery near the station which also sold tea and coffee. We just got a mini 5-6" pizza round, a chicken baguette and an almond croissant with our cuppas and enjoyed it on the outside tables in the square. We engaged in the totally acceptable people watching at that hour as people came and went collecting their freshly baked baguette for the evening meal. It must have been one of the few bakeries open in town as ...
