... Port Vell is the marina area where all the rich people keep their boats. The beach area at La Barcelonetta was very pretty, no waves, but a nice calm beach. I had lunch at Litoral, the menu del dia- calamari, seafood paella and crème catalan (crème brulee). The whole thing was delicious, but probably a bit too much for me, so I have leftovers for another time.

Wow. That is a looooong trip across the ocean. The flight was smooth and uneventful - hooray! They fed us a decent meal - hooray! We are done that leg of the trip - hooray!

... metropolis was devoid of people. Unfortunately the park is not frequented by the locals or tourists due to the unusual park regulations involving animal cruelty and difficult balancing acts.
