... which you take to another counter to pay your money, and they give you a hand-written receipt which you then take back to checkin and show it to get your boarding pass!
Anyway their process was a great source of amusement and made up for the pain of the sting from their revenue raising. The joke is that it probably cost them more to run the manual process for collecting the revenue than what they earned.

... us was the Gran Flamenco show, in a theater right on La Rambla. This show consisted not only of dancers but also of singers, who were as much a part of the show as the dancing. Having been to this type of show before, I was surprised by the singing and the storytelling that was more evident to me this time than last. We decided on one of Gaudi's buildings. The one that wasn't covered over in a sheet showing the picture of the building. They thought we wouldn't notice. The building we chose was built based on nature and the ocean. It was incredible!
