Great start to the day waking to an email from Dethleffs saying they were going to pay for all Herman's problems with the tap for the last few months... So we had to buy a data sim for the Myfy that took ages to get to work because the APN settings were entered wrong by the SFR Man... Then off to the vets for Tia, the annual inoculations and a bag of her food ordered in... Off ...

One thing we have learnt from our visits to France - always listen to Geraldine's advice. Who knows everything...Geraldine knows. If it is places to visit near Bordeaux, Aix en Provence or Marseilles - she has always given us some great tips. So with that in mind when she told us that her friend Valerie had opened a new cheese / meat / wine shop near us here in Sarlat...we knew we must visit.

... 2 Euros each to put through a strange coin operated turnstile, which had a confusing sign saying you could use either one or two-euro coins. It meant two one-euro coins or one two-euro coin. Debbie had to talk her way into changing smaller coins with other tourists.

... to be booked a week ago. Head for Casseneuil, on the river Lot. We stop in Centre Ville, walk the streets which are quite pretty, with lots of flowers, especially one place where a woman was watering flowers in pots of all sizes, attached to walls, windows and on the street. We walk to where a tributary stream joins the Lot, and walk up it to a park, with ancient flat brick and mortar structures. The river is pretty, but the colour of it is a bit opaque.
