Our venu for lunch was the Moulin des Saveurs in Barbaste. This restaurant is situated in the remains of a 13th Century fortified mill (why a mill required fortification I cannot find!). Next to the mill is a lovely weir and a 12th Century arched bridge which made for some pretty photos. Dinner the previous night was at Restaurant La Halle in the picturesque bastide village of Jegun. Great food and wine was consumed although for the life of me I cannot remember what I had to eat! After returning to the hotel at a reasonable hour, it was straight to bed for me!

It was a nice sunny warm day and we took advantage of the weather by taking a walk along the Canal de Deux Mers to the impressive Cacor Canal Bridge. The canal is man made and joins the Atlantic to the Mediterranean and the Cacor Canal Bridge actually crosses the Tarn River. It is hard to explain but hopefully the photos will make it clearer.
