    Today was very significant, it was the last leg of our Rhine River tour.

    We were heading to the 'Hook of Holland' where the Rhine enters the North Sea.

    A sunny day accompanied by a headwind saw lots of riders out and about, particularly given it was Saturday.

    It was wonderful to have Mark ride with us on this the final day of our 2015 Pino Adventure.

    Leaving a beautiful city behind. Brugge. It was a lovely start to the tour. A bit of a miserable start to the day but at least it was cool. As we drove along the morrow au heading towards The Netherlands and Amsterdam, there are lot of single wind turbines at the edge of the road.     ... any of the herring stalls, my excuse anyway. Did all the usual tourist things, found the red light area a bit grotty but a must see, markets were great but disappointed in the food offerings in the Leidesplein. Every second place either Italian or Argentine steak houses complete with the spruikers.     A fitful night's sleep was had because it felt like we were under the engines, all of the noise seemed to be transmitted through cabin 4311 - avoid like the plague (didn't have time to assess the resonance properties)

    ... sickness.. Followed by another four hour bus trip again with some more motion sickness. This was a long day but we made it and we have officially touched down on European soil in Amsterdam.
