Happy 4th of July!

We had a great time at Pensacola Beach! We got there at 9:45am and stayed until 3pm and even with a easy up shade, rash guard wearing and 3+ sunscreen applications we all got sunburn! The parade ground of Pickens is half-filled with a huge concrete gun battery that was added in 1898 after it became clear that the new technology on ships had made the old brick batteries obsolete.
