... gritty and apparently "real" slice of urban Sicily. The B&B we stayed in was great, and was located in a working class neighborhood of shops and homes. Some of the neighborhood scenes were right out of The Soprano's, with seemingly idle men hanging around on cheap plastic chairs outside little restaurants or bars, maybe playing cards on a small folding table or just watching and commenting on the world going by.
