Highway I-8 snaked through the mountain passes and the east and west bound lanes split completely, out of sight from one another for miles on what is called the Kumeyaay Hwy. As we descended out of mountains we exited onto Old Hwy 80 to Campo Rd CA94. Officers on board were being trained to become more social toward passengers and user friendly interacting with their crew. Laxsidasical service by complacent service staff needed an overhaul. ... through the hotel no one even noticed us! We took the elevator up to the hotel and just walked around. It was difficult to amagine that this was the same Spot. Now instead of just beautiful white sand on the Pacific looked more like a Hawaiian resort. Even the Whale Watch bar was now transformed into a modern looking bar. ... as glamorous as it's made out to be. The sound studios we saw included the Ellen D'Generes show, Two And a Half Men and Big Bang Theory. The sound studios themselves are huge, the ceilings are full of lighting rigs and the film sets are cleverly set up to make them look much bigger on the TV. All American sitcoms have a live audience which means they all have a small seating area of about 80 seats. We saw the storage room for the props and furniture used ...
