A little while later at the top of a slight hill, the peloton had stooped probably for a wee stop, so I cycled past them - not likely to ever be repeated. Glad to see the lunch truck at 80km, really look forward to my food then as starving by this time. The sun came out again as I arrived for lunch, and quite warm all afternoon.
