Safaga Road Hurghada, Red Sea and Sinai, Egypt, 20-65-3464809
Now it was time for us to go back to Hurghada for some luxury, diving and relaxation after our trip. So it was up at 5am (our taxi driver from the day before never showed up to take us to the bus station) and off to the bus station where we were told that no tourists could get on the bus to Hurghada as there was no police escort. So after standing around at the station for 10mins wondering how the hell we were going to get out of Aswan the ticket guy finally agreed to let us on the bus (10min...

Not much to blog today except that I managed to find the Singapore GP
on the TV. Unfortunately on a German station but at least I managed to
watch it at least.

Can't remember if I mentioned on the diving days I spotted an Osprey
nest on one of the marina entrance marker bouys. On the second day
both Ospreys were standing together ...

El Gouna, Red Sea and Sinai, Egypt rustyproWow and wow again, that diving lark was spectacular. El Gouna, Red Sea and Sinai, Egypt rustypro... for some reason
my instructor thought it would be good fun to make me sink straight
away which caused me to panic slightly and I did for one brief second
think i couldn't do it but we did a couple of surface swims and I got
used to breathing under water without drowning. After that it was no
problem and I can't wait for tomorrow to do the proper dives.
El Gouna, Red Sea and Sinai, Egypt rustypro... as 'Egyptland'
by the locals because it has been purpose built as a holiday resort in
much the same way that Disneyland is the acceptable facade of America.

We've booked our snorkelling trip today for Friday plus I've booked my
SCUBA sessions as well. I have a trial in the pool tomorrow and then 2
dives on Thursday.
El Gouna, Red Sea and Sinai, Egypt rustyproMy family have visited Hurghada, Red Sea,Egypt for several years, but over the last two years the newly introduced taxi service has become a complete menace. The taxi's ''curb crawl'' honking their horns touting for business, the kamikaze drivers regularly double/treble their fares for Europeans and cheat them out of their change.

However this year a friend recommended an English expat who met us at the airport and ...
