Patara After our time in Olüdeniz it was time to go to Patara. We got back to Fethiye and asked the driver to leave us at the otogar. ... so it would seem. We have a suite which is pretty large. In fact we have a Jacuzzi in the room. We have a large sun terrace overlooking the main pool and the view from the bed is amazing. Wow, wow, wow.....what an amazing 5 days.....we have hiked about 70km from the mountain village of Ovacik near Antalya, down to the coast, past ancient ruins, over the sea on a wooden boat, ridden horses through pine forest, coped with a couple of 30 degree days with 14 km to walk, swam in the clear warm waters of the Med and finally descended to a lighthouse at Gelidonye...halfway to has been just magical and we are really proud of how hardy the kids ...

... something to eat. I wandered down the main street and was ushered into a fast food cafe thing. The waiter asked what language and brought me an English speaking Turkish waiter.

Ay yı yı.

So before I left multiple people warned me about Turkish men being charming and knowing how to use theır words. Since I am not easily charmed by words I laughed this warning off.
