... leave for Kas, a harbor town. Here the boat needs to dump garbage, refill water and fuel and replenish supplies. We have 1.5 hours to explore the town. I actually opted to stay on the boat and work on the blog entries. It was peaceful on the boat and I really didn't need to do any shopping or see another touristy harbor town. ... tommy gold, middle of town location, no campsite to be found, so I jumped out and hit up a taxi driver. He mentioned two locations on the beach, so we headed to the first. As we drove down a dirt track past some goats, I wasn't sure this was going to end well... And as we arrived, suspicions confirmed... There was camping alright - outdoors - on the grass/dirt style, with people by the hundreds costing the beach and trees nearby. Not sure tranny would have fitted in ...

... hugged the most beautiful Mediterranean coastline with sparkling bays and crystal blue water. The kids were troopers, in fact I think now Pete and I are suffering more than they are, with sore ankles and knees. We basically just plodded through this day and arrived at the walk endpoint of Gelidonye at about 3.
