Aqua Park Kas

We had a heck of a rainstorm last night in Olympos; but it didn't delay the plan to travel westward on the Med. So, here we are in Kas, a beautiful quiet sleepy town with a yacht basin filled with sailboats. <br><br>The hostel is Beautiful. I think the best I have ever stayed in. And the price isn't too bad, although it is the off season. This Might be It- the place I have been looking for. But, of course, it's too early to tell.<br><br>

Deux superbes pet&#305;tes v&#305;lles ou les plages sont a fa&#305;re rever et beaucoup de tour&#305;stes (pour la turqu&#305;e). ... sea kayak, paddling to nearby islands and over submerged ruins, even being serenaded by a couple of bagpipers passing by on a gullet - fabulous day if a little energetic - at least carrying the backpacks should be a little easier now we've built up our arm muscles!<br><br>And if any of you think that we are adventurous, yesterday we met a Welsh guy who is in the middle of cycling from Caerphilly to China!!! Now that is hardcore!

... I can now say that I've been to Greece (Yes, I know it's ridiculous, but aren't all borders and countries ridiculous to begin with?) Despite its proximity to Turkey the architecture on the island is undoubtedly Greek. So are the prices, which are almost double from the Turkish side. Nevertheless, it was lovely to roam the little village their, eat a Greek salad and stewed octopus at a charming little restaurant with especially friendly owner ...

... I had been unable to put away. I wrapped myself in my blanket and stepped out to the deck to look at the stars while I decided what to do. The stars were astounding - so bright - and the Milky Way streaking across the sky.
