The waiters - who appeared fairly used to this - quickly ushered us all inside, brought our tables in, and carried on as if nothing had happened. It was quite funny. The rain didn't last long, but an electrical storm lasted long into the night. We sat up for some time watching ...
Negril, Jamaica daveandkateI spent almost a week in Negril, a long stretch of beaches along the western tip of Jamaica. Very popular with tourists. I walked the beach several times and I've been annoyed by the "farmers" and the like on a regular basis. They are sometimes aggressive. Better to walk along the road than the beach at night to/from the restaurant for obvious reasons. Nice sunsets.

Well I was in no shape to participate as a runner, but I chose to volunteer. My friend Renee had invited me to stay at her house in Negril, and we would volunteer together. The days leading up to the event, being around active, healthy people. In Ocho Rios, I go for a morning jog a couple times a week in the mornings, but I don't see very many other people ...

We laughed so hard speculating what that might have been. Our best guess was a coconut LOL! Sometimes we'd just lay there listening to the constant honking of car horns on the road. In Jamaica, honking is a friendly gesture like saying hi, so it goes on constantly, its not a sign of "get the ...
